The drill that we just did was marching high knees. Now we are going to do a drill called quick step or alternating quick step, depending on if you keep doing the same leg or not. This is similar to, kind of like, a nice little jog, but you are going to kind of throw in a high knee drill in there, but you can do it very rapidly. If I was jogging I would then throw in a; I would want to do a quick step on my right leg as I'm jogging. I rapidly do a high knee, almost like a marching high knee, with my right leg and then I take a couple more steps and then I do it with my left leg. That would be alternating quick step. Here is what alternative quick step looks like. Once again I'm staying on the balls of my feet. I'm doing the jog and then I'm doing the quick step, kind of like a high knee. Alright. Starting with the jog my right leg and then my left leg; I'm staying on the balls of my feet. That's alternating quick step.
