History of Croquet

"In this segment, I'm going to talk to you about the history of croquet. Croquet actually began in the mid-nineteenth century in the British Isles. Now there's competitions all over the world but for the most part, you're going to find this as a fun and entertaining place to, or way to play the game of croquet. You can play it in back yards. You can play it in, you'll find different areas throughout the country that have little fields like this one that are set up where you can play. Anywhere you've got a flat field, you can set up and play and it's just a fun and entertaining way to hang out with friends or family or you know, burn time at a picnic or just get together with family and friends and make a go at it. It's a great art and it's a great sport."
