"My name is Niall O'Leary from the Niall O'Leary School of Irish Dance in New York City and today I'm demonstrating intermediate Irish step dancing. So for our last intermediate Irish dance move in hard shoes we're going to introduce some syncopation. Now, all these moves that we've done you can put together and come up with the most amazing dance, but if you have some syncopation in it it's going to look really exciting. So we're going to take a basic treble hop back move that we did earlier on. Treble hop back, treble hop back. Now, we're going to introduce a pause. Treble hop back pause, treble hop back pause, treble hop back pause, treble hop back. So what I'm doing is I'm doing treble hop back pause and I'm holding my feet and then I'm going down. So by introducing a pause you're introducing ligament variation and it sounds exciting when you do it this way. So it's...watch again how I'm in perfect position and then I pause. So you're pulling up all the time. Once more from the side...that's the treble hop back in syncopation. On behalf of Expert Village thank you for watching."
