My name is Niall O'Leary from the Niall O'Leary School of Irish Dance in New York City and today I'm demonstrating intermediate Irish step dancing. We're going to do another combination involving a stamp. We just did stamp hop, this one is, you guessed it, stamp leap. So this time you're putting your full foot on the floor, but you take it away but in tap dancing it would be called a stomp. You put your full foot on the floor, but you take your full foot away and then we're going to leap on it. So watch how when I take my foot away that again I'm going to point my toes so that I can successfully leap on my pointy toe. So the stamp leap, so your hitting the floor with some force and this is how you come off the floor taking your heel away first, stamp leap once more.
