"My name is Niall O'Leary from the Niall O'Leary School of Irish Dance in New York City and today I'm demonstrating intermediate Irish step dance. We're now introducing a move called the kick. For this you're going to kick your heel with your toe. So, with this part of your shoe you want to kick the corner of your heel. So you're going to go like this. The plan is to practice this, touch your toe to your heel and then...so you want to aim for the same spot every time. So the combination is treble hop kick hop step. Treble hop kick hop step. Watch again how I'm doing the treble, bringing my foot back, kicking my heel and then hop step. Treble hop kick hop step, treble hop kick hop step and you want to get the same kick sound every time."
