Series Summary

Oh, the simple beauty of the tulip. Sprouting from the ground, the tulip rises toward the warming sun as if beckoning the winter sluggishness to disappear. In the early hours of spring, beneath their six pedaled flowers, the tulip announces that spring is near! Surely, with their colors and gaiety, tulips brighten the once barren flower beds. Though associated with Holland, the flower originated in the Persian Empire, however, since its early discovery, the tulip has migrated across many continents. It has graciously adapted to many beds, despite the possibility of overcrowding.
