"Hi, my name is Marti. I'm coming to you on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today I'm going to show you how to iron a skirt. Really set that pleat in there you can use starch on skirts. In fact you can starch this if you like some people, like linen starch. It just kind of depends on your style these days. I don't know that linen has to be starch so much as it used to be. It has a kind of a soft easy wear to it and once we got all the way around the skirt and we done all of our seams we done everything up top. We are going to flip it over and I'm going to run over the hem real fast. As I do that though, I want to put these pleats back in order. Sometimes our hem has a tendency to curl or kick and this will help prevent that. "
