"Hi, my name is Marti. I'm coming to you on behalf of expertvillage.com. Today I'm going to show you how to iron a skirt. I'm going to do one side and then I'm going to place the fabric where I want it as I go. Then I'm going to iron the other side of my box pleat. In some of our episodes, you may have seen me ironing pants with pleats and those are pinched pleats. This is an actual box pleat so when you look at the construction you can see how it gets it's name, it actually shapes it's box. Take your time with this. You don't have to press hard, you can go slow because the fabric is a linen and it is a natural product as it cools it helps to hold that setting in place."
