"Hi, this is Grace Fitzpatrick here on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to talk to you about the importance about soaking your dishes. It is really a good idea to soak your dishes before you wash them. If you are going ot be washing something that has previously had hard to get off food and crusted on it sides. A example of this is the rice pot. You know you do some rice, you go away for a way, you come back, and the rice is all caked to the side. Or burn food, food that is sort of looks like it is never going to come off. Well you don't have to be scared cause all you have to do is soak it. It is best to soak things overnight especially stuff like casseroles or thing that you have baked and they are really caked on there. All you have to do is put a little bit of soap in the bottom and I just like to do cause when you run the water over and it kind of mixes up the soap. Just put a little on the bottom. All you have to do is really blast the water for one second over the soap. We get it a little bit lather up, then you don't have to use as much water. Then if you have some gloves on, you can sort of swish it around. Just to make sure there is some bubbles in there. Then you can let that sit for as long as you or as little time as you like. However, the longer you let it soak the easier it is going to be to wash off."
