Summary: How to set parental controls in this free video on setting up and maximizing your Nintendo Wii.
"O.k. one other thing on the parental controls is the other settings right here on the parental controls page. So you click on that, it says these controls provide parental control for WiiConnect24, online functionality, and some Wii channels that can be added through Wii system updates. Click on that and in the Wii shop channel you can buy games and you do that by buying points. So if you want to restrict the use of the Wii points on the Shop channel you might click yes here. Basically you don't want to buy a whole bunch of points and then a kid maybe like downloads them all right away or something like that. Restrict online user-to-user communication and the exchange of user generated content. You can send messages between different Wii owners so if you don't want your child messing with this then you would click yes here, go to the next one. Restrict the use of the internet channel. If you don't, right now if you download the internet channel you can pretty much go anywhere on the internet. So if you want to restrict the use of that you would click yes and you can also restrict the use of the News channel which is just like it sounds, it's all about, it's just news stories. Then to end it you just go to settings complete and that's it, that's how you set up the parental controls on your Wii."
