"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Rodney Fielitz I'm a certified flight instructor in Cottonwood, AZ and I'm here to give you the basics of what it takes to become a pilot. The next chapter in our manual that we have it talks about the fuel systems this is the most critical part of the airplane; without fuel you don't fly. So fuel management is everything on an airplane every airplane is different but this airplane will tell you actually how much fuel is in the airplane, how much it's going to burn an hour and this is just an estimate because every time you fly you want to take your time, and then when you fill the plane up and then you keep records of it. That way you know exactly what its field and it also tells you how much fuel is in each tank this particular airplane it carries 18 gallons of fuel of each side. Some of this fuel is not usable it will explain to you also and then it has the diagram of the fuel system which it will show you how the fuel works in a high wind airplane, the fuel will be on the gravity feed system. In a low end airplane the fuel has to have a manual, a fuel pump and an electric fuel pump to get to the fuel engine."
