"My name is Kevin Blakeney on behalf of Expert Village, it is time to add live to your railroad village. When adding life to your railroad village you have serval choses. You can get painted, unpainted, you can buy ones with the bases, and ones without. Now I normally go with the painted figures just because there level of detail highly surpases any level that I can create myself. But some people for a painting there own and that is a personal preference. Now the figures with bases can be bought in sets normally 6-9. As can the figures without bases. Now the problem with these obviously is that they are not going to stand up on there own which is why figures are sometimes the most irritating part of your model railroad village. Especially for someone as inpatient as I am. I'm going to show you a trick. This is a tacky wax kind of substance that I found. You put a little dab on the bottom of there feet, stick with a very still hand exactly where you want them to stay and they woudl stand up on there own. It works a whole lot better then any type of glue which has a drying time and it would last a lifetime. You want to intersperse your figures throughout your display. All sort of different activities you can be doing. Sometimes you are luck enough to come across a figure without a base that would actually stand on its own. You can have as many figures that you like or as few as you like depending on how busy you like your town to look. So now that we have all of our figures in place we are ready to move on to the next step. "
