"My name is Kevin Blakeney on behalf of Expert Village. Now that your roads are in place it is time to chose your automobiles. You are now ready to add transportation to your model railroad village. This comes in the form of cars. Now cars can be purchase on this scale which is HO scale in kits, in packages of 2,4 or 6 or as individually units. Now the individual units are usually more detailed and more expensive. This was purchase as a individual unit it includes detailed headlights and bumpers. Now if you have a couple of these more expensive vehicles in your display it creates a nice over all look. You can add filler cars such as these, these where bought as a pack of 4 and we are obviously much cheaper with non moving wheels and non detailed parts. These can be put in front of houses, on main streets, add a little bit of interest. You can have them abandon in back of hill sides. Now when choosing your vehicle you want to keep the era of your village in mind. These are all 1920s or 1940s type packers and delivery trucks. This type of fire engine would not fit the scale nor the era of the village that we are trying to create. So you want to keep that in mind when you are putting a lot of detail in something. You want to keep the era as complacent over the entire display as possible. So obviously this is not going in our design. Now that we have our cars in place we are ready to move on to people which sometimes it could be the most frustrating part of the entire display. "
