"Hi my name is Melissa Powell, I m with Expert Village. In discussing how to play blackjack. We're going to talk about when it's wise to hit and when it's wise to stand. We'll keep going, this player has thirteen, also a risky hand but I would probably take a hit. Especially since the last card was a ten, doesn't guaranty anything but chances of two tens being together. Maybe not so great! So let's go ahead and take a hit. Too many too bad, pretty close! And I take their bet. We move on here to the sixteen. I would definitely stand on the sixteen in this case; if you take a hit your chances of busting are pretty great. So I would go ahead and wait. And of course on the twenty you definitely want to stand, it s a great hand. Now let s go back to the dealer. Here I am and I m going to flip over my bottom card and expose what I have. I do indeed have twelve. So, very wise for these people to stand! Because I must hit huh, I got very lucky. As you can see I do have twenty so the only person who compares with me. Are the two kings over there; they don't win any money but they have what's called a PUSH, even money. I don't take their money and they don't make any money. But, I do take those other players. And those are some basics of hitting and standing. Obviously, it is a game of luck and chance. You don't know when you re going to win. But there are some basic guidelines you can follow to: that help you insure you that you will play your best game."
