"Hi, I'm Brenda F. Dixon, the owner of Life Help Now in Nashville, Tennessee and we're here today with Expert Village. Our topic is how to identify ADHD; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children and how to handle this disorder in children. I'm giving you some of the traits and some of the symptoms of ADHD, another part of this disorder is being inattentive. Children really that have this disorder, they will, they're very forgetful. They don't remember where they put their homework, if they did their homework. They just, they're just forgetful and they're distracted so easily. That's a very much another component of it. The child that has ADHD, someone may be talking to them and a sound will come and the child will be distracted and look at the sound and completely get away from what it was they were talking about. It could be a windc chime, it could be somebody opening a door. But a child that has ADHD is an inattentive part of it, they type that has inattentive they will be distracted very easily. So it's important to know what these different traits are so that you can be more aware of how to handle it."
