I want you to know that a hyperactive child that has ADHD cannot play quietly. They try to, the parents try to set a stage where the child will go up in its room and just sit there and play and they can't do it. They cannot sit quietly and play. They cannot organize things enough in their play area to sit still. So one of the things that you're going to notice with the child that has ADHD is they just are moving all the time. Another component of ADHD is they're very impulsive. This child will if its walking by a swimming pool, they may jump in the pool. You just don't know what a child that has ADHD might do. They might run out in the street, they might, you just don't know what they're going to do. So this is just going to help you understand a little bit more about ADHD and some of the characteristics of this particular disorder.
