Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Brenda F. Dixon, the owner of Life Help Now in Nashville, Tennessee and we're here today with Expert Village. Our topic today is how to identify ADHD and handle ADHD in children. ADHD means Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This disorder is in adults and in children but we're going to mainly focus on how to handle children. This disorder has actually three types to it. The ADHD first type is like an inattentive; the child actually is unable to focus on a subject, cannot pay attention, cannot focus on anything at all. They just have to, their mind just varies different directions. The other focus is ADHD is hyperactivity; the child cannot sit still, talks inesessively. The third type of ADHD is a combination of all of these, it's all of the symptoms that I'm going to explain to you at a different point that I am right now. So ADHD has three different types to it and we'll talk about it more in a little bit. "
