"Hello, my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of Expert Village today, I'm going to talk to you about how to treat insect bites and stings. But before I start let me introduce myself. I'm a Clinical Research Physician in the area of Oncology which is cancer and also a Stem Cell Scientist in AIDS/HIV. Now in this series of clips I'm going to talk to you about how to treat insect bites and stings and what to do and what not to do. Because every year hundreds of people are bitten by insects and also you know get stung by the bees. Especially in the hike of season, in the summer seasons. When the flowers are out and insects are abundance. So there are certain ways that you could learn to protect yourself from first of all from the stings and bites and secondly if you do get stung/bitten by these insects, you will know what to do to try to alleviate the pain from the bites. So I hope you enjoy these series of clips on how to treat bites and stings from insects."
