"So one of the most common things that we see here, and one of the things that I actually specialize in, is stress and the physical manifestations of stress. It’s very common for people to, especially in this day and age, to put up with an enormous amount of stress. And I always kind of liken it to an interesting analogy that I heard once talking about boiling a frog in water. It’s like if you put a frog in hot water it’ll jump immediately out but if you put a frog in cold water and you heat the water out he won’t ever jump out because he’s constantly getting used to it and adapting and adapting and at some point you’ve boiled this frog. And most people are along those lines actually. They can put up with and adapt with enormous amounts of stress. And at some point the body starts to break down, and it breaks down in not so concrete ways and in some very concrete ways. So stress, actually, is the root cause, according to the American Medical Association, of about eighty five percent of what people end up with in the hospital. Eighty five percent covers pretty much everything that you see. So we treat pretty much everything from headaches to digestive problems to all different types of pain to fatigue to anxiety to depression. All of those are having to do frequently with stress and how people’s ability to handle stress is. So people come in whether it’s a week or two weeks or every three weeks or four weeks or they call me up in an emergency. But what the session allows them to do is kind of reset their health. They come in with whatever they have going on and they leave an hour or and hour and a half later in a completely different state and that allows them to actually got back into their stressful jobs or their home life or the million other things that they’re doing and that allows them to function at a higher level. To me, actually, stress is one of the most important things to look at. Because it is really truly the root of most of the physical problems that I see people dealing with today. And I think we tend to either negate it or not put enough focus on how stress is. We tend to say oh I focus better under stress or stress makes me do better and I tend to say that yeah we always run faster when the tiger’s chasing us but at some point we tend to get tired. And so this is one of the reason’s that I tend to focus on stress because if we can give people some ways of coping with that their lives will be at an actual higher quality. "
