"Hi, I'm Kelly on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that you can use when you are applying a powder foundation. One thing that is really really important is when you're trying to choose a foundation thats right for you is the color of course. So when you're trying to match your foundation color you want to take a little bit and you want to be able to do a stripe from cheek to jaw and have it blend. If you can see I'll do it one more time for you, but that really disappeared nicely into her skin. You should never have to work real hard to blend. If you have to work really hard to get it to melt into the skin it's probably not the right color. You want to take into consideration undertones in the skin, whether you are more of a golden undertone or whether you have a lot of pink or redness to the skin. But you never want to have any lines of demarcation along the jawline. You should not be able to see where your makeup stops and where your face or neck begins because thats just not attractive. That's probably the most important thing that you can take into consideration when you are trying to choose a foundation thats right for you. Just making sure you are matching the color properly. So that's how you would want to go about matching your foundation. "
