"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you some tips and techniques to create a smoky eye. So then after we finish our smoky eye look we're going to apply some under eye brightener to the under eye area. Especially when you're working with darker shadows, you definitely have a lot more tendency to create more of a shadow on the under eye area, so you want to make sure you brighten that up after you're finished. So we're just going to take a little bit of our under eye brightener on our concealer brush, and just pat it and work it into the inner corner of the eye and under the lash line. We don't want to cover up any of the smokiness that we created, but we just want to brighten up and remove anything that might have fallen under the eye. That's why I always like to go back in with my brightener after I've complete an eye look, completed all the eye shadow, mascara and eye liner, to make sure that we don't have anything that's fallen under the eye. I don't like to cake a whole lot on there either. You can see that it gives a nice bright uplifted appearance. It helps neutralize any discolorations around the eye area and it just gives a nice bright, uplifted look. So that's how you want to brighten your under eye area with an under eye brightener."
