"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you some tips and techniques to create a smoky eye. So we're going take our bulleted brush and we're going to take some black shadow, and we're going to just smudge the lash line in an upward motion and we can get a little bit of smokiness and a little bit of heaviness around the lash line. As you can see, we dotted it into the lashes. It didn't necessarily smudge off all of her liner, it just gave it a little bit more of a dramatic smokier look to the eye area. Same thing underneath, just smudge a little bit of shadow into the lash line, and that will give it a little bit more heaviness and little more of a smokier look. So again, upper lashes, we're just taking a little bit of our black shadow and blending it upwards and smoking out the lash line. Underneath, we're just smudging a little bit of liner, excuse me, shadow into the liner to give it a little bit of a smokier look. So that's how you want to smudge out your liner."
