How to Highlight Brows for Smoky Eye Makeup

"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to give you some tips and techniques to create a smoky eye. I'm going to take a really light shade of shadow on my blending brush. I'm just going to sweep this across her brow bone. Especially when you're using darker colors or smokier colors, you want to make sure you're highlighting your brow bone. It just softens the look a little bit, and gives a little pop of brightness. It will brighten and lift the eye. Especially if you have something with a little bit of luminescence to it, it will catch the light, and it will really brighten and lift the eye. You can see how much it did for lifting her eye area and giving her a nice, bright look. So you just want to take your blending brush and sweep it across right under the brow bone to minimize the heaviness or the darkness. So that's how you go about brightening and lifting the eye, by using a highlighter on the brow bone."
