"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that you can use to create a smoky eye. After we've smudged our cream liner up into the crease, I'm going to take my smoky shade of shadow and my bulleted again and take a little bit on here. I'm going to go over what we just did. So I'm going to smoke, starting from the lashes, up into the crease. Do a little windshield wiper motion through the crease. This will set our cream liner and keep it on. That will be the basis for the smoky eye. Depending on how much drama you want to the eye area, it will depend on how heavy you want to do it. Some people are comfortable wearing a lot of eye make up, some are not as comfortable. So definitely gauge how much smokiness you want. It's always easier to apply less and build, than it is to apply a really heavy then have to soften it, so if you start light, you can always blend and make it darker. That's working your darker color through the crease."
