"I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that you can use to create a smoky eye. The first step we are going to do to create our smoky eye is we're going to use a black creme liner, and I'm going to use my thicker creme liner brush. So I'm going to take a little bit of this, and I'm going to apply at the lash line a little bit thicker than I would normally. The reason for that is because I'm going to be smoking it upwards into the crease, so I want a little bit more to work with. I'm just going to pat it along the lash line a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier than I would if I was doing a daytime look. So now I have it on a little bit thicker, and we're ready to smoke it upwards."
