How to Apply Professional Evening Eyeliner

"Hi my name is Hayley Kaufman, I'm a licensed cosmetologist here on behalf of Expert Village. In this series, I'm going to show you how to do make up like a pro. So now that you have your eye shadow on for your big club night out, now you want to do your eye liner. I like this. I don't know if you've ever seen this or not. It's a cream liner. This is just a standard black. It's called blackout. We have brown, black, purple, green, blue, purple-black, and every color that you can ever think of. You want to take a tiny little slanted brush like this. It's slanted so that you don't have to do awkward positions with your hands. It just kind of follows your lashline. You can just rest it on your eyelashes when you do it. When you put the liner onto your brush, you just want to make it a little circle, put it around and you can do thick, thin, it doesn't matter with a brush. If you let it dry for a couple of minutes or even a couple seconds, you rub it as hard as you want or as you can, and it's not going to come off. It's completely waterproof, so it'll last all night. It doesn't matter how much you're sweating after dancing. So when you put it on, you just want to rest...I'm going to put it on the top first...you just want to rest the brush on the lashes. I do a very very thin thin line. You can do a wings and make it go out if you want it's your preference, however you want to do it. So there's the first eye if you want to see. See it just kind of has a wing going out and gives it a little extra something there. Then we're going to move to the bottom. I like to put it on the inside of the eye. You just follow where your tear duct is all the way over. What I like about this eye liner is that it will stay. I know that a lot of you have probably tried eye liners that come off, but this one will stay all night. If you want, you can lift up your eye and put a little bit of liner there so it will keep, it will make the color very strong. You'll keep blinking and it will keep putting color there. But you don't really need to with this eyeliner. Okay, there you go."
