"Hi my name is Hayley Kaufman. I'm a licensed cosmetologist here on behalf of Expert Village. In this series I'm going to show you how to do make up like a pro. So if you're going to go clubbing one night, say it's Saturday night and you're going to go get your drink on, I have a way to make you look hot. You're always going to start with your shadow base. It's a cream, you're just going to do a light layer over the lid. It makes the shadow last longer without creasing. I have in mind we're going to do like a smoky eye--world's famous smoky eye that you see on all the celebrities. This is a charcoal grey color and we're going to put it all over the lid. Depending on how dark you want your eyes, you can do the black with a little bit of glitter in it for the crease. I always like to do a little bit more color. I don't like it to be black or grey and then nothing. So I like to blend a little bit of a natural looking color into there. And then of course you have your white for the brow bone, and you can put a little bit in the corners. So let me show you how to do it. So you're just going to take a little bit of the shadow base, and you're going to put it all over your lid. Try and make it very smooth and even. Now I'm going to pick up the charcoal grey color. When I put it on, it's going to look really weird until you blend it all out. I like to look straight and see where, right above the crease so you want to see the black up there too. Then you're want to get a brush like this, very fluffy, you can get a lot of air in there, and you're just going to rub it on your eyes. You should do it in the direction you want the shadow to go. You don't want it to get into the crease by your nose, so you want to do it out this way, and you just blend it. Take a step back and look. You can always add more. Then I get a little bit smaller of a brush, a medium size, and you take the tan color, skin color, and put it above that. You take the white with the very small brush, and you just follow your eyebrow, right on the brow bone. It makes your eyebrow stand out. It gives it a nice archy look. Then you take your blending brush and blend it in. Once you think it's blended right, then you're ready for your eyeliner."
