"Hi my name is Hayley Kaufman. I'm a licensed cosmetologist here on behalf of Expert Village. In this series I'm gonna show you how to do makeup like a pro. Ok now we're gonna try and curl our lashes and do mascara. I like to use the heated eyelash curler. It's for people that have stubborn eyelashes like me, mine grow straight down, so if you don't have stubborn lashes and yours do curl you can just use the regular one, but this heats it up and it's not hot to the point where it's gonna burn you. It's perfect. Then there a lash primer. It's a white mascara that makes your eyelashes look thicker and longer so you're gonna put that on, let it dry, and then apply your mascara. I have picked a waterproof mascara and it's black. We have black, black brown, navy, regular brown. Whichever you prefer so if you like it lighter you can do brown, but I like the standard black. With the heated eyelash curler there's a little light right here that will blink when it tells you when it's hot enough. Right now it stopped blinking which tells you it's good so you just take it off and make sure you get all your lashes in there. Just the upper lashes and you just need to go down once or twice. Be careful not to pinch yourself, this is dangerous. And there you go, then you get the lash primer. Don't pump your mascara, you'll get bacteria in there and your supposed to switch your mascara every couple of months, but if you do that you're gonna go through mascara like underwear. I like to blink and get it on. It's a very light white and then you just do a couple coats of the regular mascara, and the bottom lashes if you want. And then you could let it dry and do another coat. As many as you want just don't do too many cause you're gonna get clumps. You have an eyelash separator for all those clumps. It has tiny needles so you don't want to bend it. You'll break them very easily and you just separate and it gets all those clumps out of there. There you go."
