How to Apply Professional Foundation & Concealer

"Hi, my name is Hayley Kaufman, I'm a licensed cosmetologist here on behalf of Expert Village. In this series I'm gonna show you how to do make-up like a pro. Now that you have a clean face let's go to powders, foundations, and concealers. The concealer that I'm using is a really good coverage. It's a, you don't have to use it but for those of you who don't get a lot of sleep, like to go out late at night or that have a lot of kids or you just feel tired have dark circles a lot of lines and wrinkles. This is something good to use in addition to the powder and foundation. The powder and foundation that I use, it's just one little tube, it's a liquid powder and mineral foundation. For those of you who have heard of bare essential mineral powder, loose powder. It's that except for it's in a liquid form, the second it hits your face it turns into a powder. It works as a powder foundation and concealer all in one, but like I said for those of you who that want a little bit of extra coverage you can use a concealer. So let me show you how to put it on. There's two different ways you can do this. You could put the concealer on and then the foundation, you could put the foundation on and then the concealer or actually a third way is if you really want deep coverage you could put concealer on foundation on and then concealer on top of that. I'll just show you with the concealer under the foundation. I just take a little bit you put it in the corners of your eyes. And it's not, it's not hairs so you can get these wet, use more colors on it. And you just go from the corner out. Make sure you are very careful in this area because it is very sensitive thin skin. You don't want to use a lot of this product or you are going to look kind of fake. But when you use concealer make it a shade lighter than your skin. Now when you use this foundation you don't want to use a sponge or a brush because it will waste the product. The second that it hits your finger it melts so it just glides onto your face really easily. And you just want to put a couple not a lot just a little bit. You can even do a couple of dots around your face. Make sure you get in all the places on top of the concealer you've put on. You could put on your eyes so everything is the same shade. Just make sure you have a nice even coat and you're done. "
