"Hi this is Ash on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I am going to tell you how to catch a ball below shoulder height. For a ball that is coming below your shoulders, the action to catch the ball is like this. You take both your hands, bring them together like this and you take the catch putting your body behind it. So you may have to catch like this, like this, and the moment you have the ball in your hands, in your wrist, you close your hands. So like this, like this. This is basically for balls which are below your shoulder height. Let's see this in action. There we go. It was slightly upish, but that's how the action is. Now let's see a ball that's slightly below. There you go. Let's see another one. There you go. That's how you do it. Keeping your body behind the ball this is how you catch. This is the movement. Once you catch the ball you're going to bring your hands closer to the body getting some kind of a cushion. So this is the usual way to catch a ball. "
