"Hi, this is Ash on behalf of Expert Village. In this click I'm going to tell you how to loft the ball. A loft shot is a very effective shot, especially if you have a lot of fielders within the inner circle and it's difficult for you to play a normal ground shot and get runs. So you play this ball, and as an the name suggests, the ball is lofted above the fielders head and goes towards the boundary. Let's see how this shot is played. There are two ways to play this shot. In one of the ways, once the ball hits the ground you open the face of the bat and hit it getting behind and under the ball with a speed that is adequate to take the ball over the infielders head. Another way to hit this kind of a shot is to come down and hit the ball coming down the track on the pitch, and hitting the ball with the full flow and the full open face of the bat. Let's see how this shot is played. This is how you get down the track to the ball. The ball comes, the batsman comes dancing down the track and hits the ball with the full force, full push over the boundary. Now this is how the shot is played in real time. There it must have gone for a huge six! "
