"Hi, this is Sean Hobson, for Expert Village. What we want to talk about now is when setting up a return our focus is now the outside of the line. On the outside our wing guys are going to block a little different than our inside linemen. Our inside linemen are going to hit, they'll retreat down the field, turn around and find a blocker. These guys on the outside, on the kicking team, these are going to be your gunners. These are going to be the guys that try to get down field and make that big hit. So, it's very important for our guys to block them in the right way. It starts with a good balanced position. He has to be ready to explode right off the bat. We also want them lined up with the nose of our linebacker on the ear of the guy ahead of him. Or, you can split him to the outside and line up on his inside shoulder. When this happens, the first move will be a drop step. He wants to get this guy to the outside so he can push him all the way out. The next step will be the jab. He's going to get into him and he's going to hit him hard. As they go down the field he wants to keep contact with that guy and keep him pushed out as much as he possibly can to keep him out of the play. That way, our return man can step up in the middle of the return."
