"Hi, this is Sean Hobson, for Expert Village. What we're talking about now is the proper way to run a reverse with a split backfield. Or, as some would call, a pro set backfield. It's the same type of play with a little different positioning for the running backs coming out. Once our quarterback is under center and he takes the snap, he still wants to make a fake to the first man through which is going to be the running back on right side. This time, both running backs are in the two point stance. There's not any in the three point stance. So, he fakes to the first man through, the second back then comes through and takes the hand off. Our wide receiver is coming around, our quarterback is out in front, we have our guard out in front, we have our wide receiver who is cracked down on the defensive end and now we'll be able to turn the ball up the field and hopefully score a touchdown. That's the proper way to run this when you're in a pro set backfield. That means we have two backs split, our first right running back goes through, then our second running back goes through and we make the hand off and hopefully score a touchdown."
