"Hi, my name is Matt Vansteenis and on behalf of Expert Village we are going to learn how to snowboard today at Cannonsburg Ski Resort in beautiful Grand Rapids, Michigan. Gloves, something decent. You can go with something like this that goes up kind of above your wrist so it goes underneath your jacket so it keeps the snow out. I like to ride with something a little more lower profile, so it just kind of sticks right to your hand you got the cuff and just coat slides ride over the top. Gortex is a plus. So, hat, you can either do, the big thing now is helmets, because kids are getting hurt. The helmet is the warmest hat you'll ever have, but I enjoy just a nice knit stocking cap and then on top of that then you have your goggles. Goggles, like today, it's kind of low light, so you want to use something that's a nice amber lens so you can see through it really well. It makes all the dead spots, all the flat light really pop out so you can actually see. So, just wear your goggles nice and comfortable. Not too low so it's cutting off your circulation to your nose just right on top of your eyes."
