"Michael Lewis with Yeshua martial arts on behalf of Expert Village, we are here today to talk about basic striking techniques. Your reverse jab, of course obviously is the opposite of your front jab. Your hands are up; if my right leg is back then the right hand is the jab. Keep in mind it's different from the front jab, because the front jab is very quick it has a little bit less power. With the right jab or the reverse jab, rather, where you can twist your hips into it and throw your strike. Keep in mind with your punches all your power comes from your feet generally and also your torso twisting; your whole entire body. The back leg is going to twist up onto the ball of the foot and the heel up and at the same time it's going to push your hips and your shoulder forward. As your pushing your hips and shoulders forward and you throw your punch you are going to line up your punch with your shoulder so that transfer of power goes straight from the ground all the way up into your punch allowing for you to throw a very, very hard right jab. That's just a very basic, basic overview of your right jab technique."
