on 8/2/2008 Um, I think you meant to say a pinch of salt instead of a pinch of sugar.

"Hello my name is Hiu on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show two different recipes of homemade ice cream. The first recipe I'm going to show is a basic vanilla ice cream with almond praline. First we would put a pinch of sugar in to the sauce pan and then the sugar following the milk. We use whole milk cause it has the butter fat contents if you use anything less than that the ice cream would taste different. Then we put on heat, medium heat. Remember to use a whisk to dissolve the sugar into the milk mixture and we just let it boil to around 90 degree Cecilius so it can start forming those little baby bubbles on the edge of the pan. But we don't want it to go to full boil otherwise the milk would fall apart. "
