"Hi my name's Allen for Expert Village, and today I'm going to discuss the controversial and banned alcohol, commonly known as Absinthe. Now over the course of the five days that it takes to steep, now it almost looks like a brown color. Let's see if I can get the color; I don't know I can get it here, but it is a really, really dark green. And if you smell it, it smells a lot like licorice, which is really based on a lot of the herbs that I discussed before, like the Annis. You're just going to want to follow the directions over the five to six days and just keep shaking it up every so often. Keep it out of the light. Don't refrigerate it and just let it go. The next step that we're going to move on to is actually taking this out of here, and we're going to put it through the first filter, which is like a coffee filter. And get out any of the herbs that might be in here from shaking it up and everything like that. So make sure that it is clean and ready to go."
