Prepare the Roaster for Slow Cooked Chicken

"Hi, this is Matt on behalf of Expert Village and today we're going to learn how to make my slow cooked chicken with my garlic ranch potatoes. Okay there's one more step before we start slow cooking our food and that's to prepare the actual roaster oven. So I'm going to pour about a cup of water on the bottom of the roaster oven. Then I'm going to take some tin foil and I'm just going to cover the bottom, like so. Now this oven use to have a rack that you place the food on, I didn't like the rack to much because the juices and the grease got on the bottom and it's really tough to clean and it also started to rust so I like this method better. So, I'm just going to poke little holes, just so when it's cooking the steam can come thru, just little tiny holes not many, maybe ten in the foil, like so. Okay wonderful. Now we're ready to put our food in."
