Our feet do an amazing amount of work; it is estimated that each foot carries several tons of weight over the course of a day. If you were to multiply that number over a lifetime, it would be difficult to believe you had done your arithmetic properly. That is why it is so important that when you buy shoes you know you're investing in more than just something that will complete an outfit.
In these free videos you'll get tips for buying women's shoes from an expert. Esther Rodrigues tells you not only when is the best time to try on shoes, but shows you how to properly measure your foot for the perfect fit, how to fit high heel shoes, and how to use shoe grips and other accessories to make sure you buy the perfect pair of shoes.
"Hi, I'm Esther Rodrigues with The Shoe Warehouse and on behalf of Expert Villag, I'm going to be showing you how to find the perfect fit when you are shoe shopping. When you are shoe shopping, the normal thing to do is to measure your feet to get the right size. You usually, when you try on your shoes you want to use the right foot to try on the shoes. Everybody's feet are not the same size. It could be either that your left foot that is larger then your right or your right could be larger then your left. Which ever one is larger, that is the shoe or the foot that you want to use to try on shoes. Usually if you go with the smaller one if you try on the smaller one on the larger foot it is going to be too tight, it is going to hurt, and you are not going to want to wear your shoes. So you would rather go with the larger foot to try on the shoes. So you can kind of compromise, put either little footies which are the little halters, the cushion inside the smaller one to push your foot up and back."
