"Hi! I'm Brenda F. Dixon, the owner of Life Help Now, and we're here with Expert Village. We're spending some time talking about the causes of depression today. Another cause of depression is your personality. A person who has low self-esteem. Depending on another person's personality. Maybe a stronger personality. A person that's just overwhelmed by stress could actually be the cause of depression. A person becomes vulnerable to all these personality traits and it begins to pull them down to a depressed state. Then those chemical imbalances begin to just get lower and lower and they don't have enough to function on."
