"Hi! I'm Brenda F. Dixon, the owner of Life Help Now in Nashville, Tennessee. We're here with Expert Village today. We're talking about the causes of depression. Another cause of depression is medication. People that are on medication that control high blood pressure, sleeping pills, or birth control pills. They actually start to weigh on the body, and so depression will kick in. Another cause of depression is stress, life experiences where people maybe worry a lot, or people begin to spend a lot of time thinking about what they're going to do with their life and they start to spend entirely too much time on this. It begins to leak into not getting enough sleep. That will create an arena for depression."
