"Hi. Teri Lynne here, back with Expert Village, on your daily stretching activities. Stitching activity number one is stretching your wrists and your ankles. So, you want to find a nice place where you can do you work out. I am lucky enough to be outside in the great outdoors with fresh air and nice grass, but inside works as well. Now, for the ankle one, I don't like to wear shoes, so, I'm just going to kick off my flip flops, and go bare feet. Feel free to do that as well at home. Let's start with your wrists, I want you to clasp your hands together, and in a clockwise motion, just roll your wrists forward. This helps if you do a lot of typing, writing, things on a keyboard, you work with your hands a lot during the day, this will help prevent things like carpal tunnel syndrome. Then you want to go counter clockwise as well. You want to work the joints forward and backwards. I like to do them about ten times each, ten rotations. And then you want to do your ankles, and again go clockwise first and your just going to rotate. You?re going to be on the ball of your foot and rotate and again counter clockwise as well. You want to do that with each ankle. And then the tricky thing is we are going to try some coordination. We are going to do wrists and ankles together. So, you go clockwise; choose one ankle, clockwise with your ankle and your wrists, then counter clockwise with wrists and ankle. And again, about ten rotations should do just fine. Make sure your doing on both sides. And that is stretching out your wrist and ankles here on Expert Village."
