"Hi my name is Benna Miller and on behalf of Expert Village in this next clip I'll be showing you how to do my favorite exercise, the Plank. It's not quite walking the Plank, but it's the Plank. It's my favorite exercise because it works absolutely the entire core. Remember your core is not just what you see in front. Your core is your front, your side, and your back because after all we are three dimensional. So to start with, I'd like you to first come down onto your elbows and your buns can be up, elbows right under the shoulders. You can either have your hands in a fist or your palms down. You'll walk your knees back, squeeze your thighs together. Squeeze your buns together. Tuck your toes under your feet and lean them up, pull them shoulder blades down. From here, we ultimately want to get up to being able to do this for a minute, but not today. We're going to take an imaginary finger and tickle your belly button and you're going to rise up and hold that for four counts and squeezing the thighs together, remembering to do that, pulling the shoulder blades down, coming back to the Plank and we're going to do that again. Rise up and lower down. Now if you're feeling really, really comfy with this, you can take your left leg over your right and hang out for a few minutes or you can take your right leg over your left and I think it's a great idea to come down onto the knees, stretch out, come back up and repeat this exercise at least ten times. So you start here, tickling the belly button here, come back down, repeat it, and then remember you can take your left leg over your right, and your right leg over your left, just not at the same time. So lower down, stretch out, and give yourself a pat on the back because that's a strenuous exercise and I am sure you did it beautifully."
