"Hi, my name is Benna Miller. And on behalf of Expert Village, in this clip, I'd like to show you and utterly and absolutely wonderful stretch. You can use a counter top, you can use a pole. You can use the top of a chair. Any surface that provides some stability. I'm going to turn sideways so that you can see this exercise with a little more clarity. I'm going to start close to the pole. I'm going to step back, slightly, lengthening out my arms. I'm going to bend my knees and pull my tail bone down. So I'm taking my backside down towards the floor. I'm going to stretch the tail bone back to the wall. Once more, I'm going to bend my tail bone down and this time I'm going to straighten my legs but keep my tail bone down. And this provides me with a wonderful long stretch in my lower back. Right now I'm going to bend my left knee, and then my right knee, pulling my tail bone down. Stretching out my lower back. And for my finale I'm going to cross my left leg over my right, stretching down as far as I can. Oh that feels so good. And of course, I'm going to change out and take my right foot over my left. And once again, stretch as low as I can. Coming up, always soften, or bend your knees. Stacking your vertebrae, that?s your back. What I see is Campbell's soup cans being stacked up in a nice long row. So never come up from a flat back. Thats an invitation to injury. You always want to bend your knees, tuck the tail bone under and stretch up."
