"I'm Dante Mena the author of the Adventure Hungary travel guide and here on behalf of Expert Village and we will learn a little bit more about how to get around the city using the public transportation system. Here we are at the famous Keleti train station and you can look behind me and see the great ornamentation of this station like you can at so many others in Budapest and know that it was built at the turn of the century with fabulous ironwork and superb workmanship. At the same time, the same types of things that apply to the other train stations apply to this one. You can go inside through the front entrance and you can see the signboards immediately for the trains that are arriving and the trains that are leaving. At the same time, having done that, there are some stairs that go down from that front entrance in front of the signboards. Those stairs will take you down to the ticket offices at the Keleti. At the same time, as I mentioned before, you can pick up tickets to virtually every part of Hungary. Looking around us, we are actually located in what is called Barros ter and Barros ter is loaded with all kinds of hotels and eateries as you look around you. Four-star hotels like the Park Hotel and the various hotels of the chains that are located here in Hungary. As well as a number of very fine small hamburger shops and, that Americans are familiar with. Small restaurants, Hungarian food and different types of buses, bus connections are all located right in this area. Across the street you can see that the current renovation that is going on will soon be finished, hopefully, and when that is finished there will be bus locations over there that will connect to virtually every part of the city in the BKV system."
