Maps, Tickets, & Stations in Budapest Metro

"I'm Dante Mena the author of the Adventure Hungary travel guide and on here on behalf of Expert Village and we will learn a little bit more about how to get around in the city using the public transportation system. Once again, over here at Deak ter we will take a look at something that helps everyone in Budapest and that is at every major station, you will be able to find a map that shows you the BKV metro system. The exits and the places where you can get on and off and of course, all of the interconnections including Deak ter. But, never forget that you need to punch your ticket when you get on and off in the metro system. There are several different ways to do this, you can buy a one-time ticket for a one-way trip, in which case, that ticket is only good once going in one direction. And, you would come over and you would punch in one of these machines as we see some of these people doing now as they travel on and off the metro system. But, the alternatives, and it's a good one, is that you can also get a weekly pass or you can buy a monthly pass or you can get your three-day pass at any of the BKV ticket offices, which are in the entrance of every metro in the system."
