How to Read Metro Signs in Budapest, Hungary

And we will learn a little more about how to get around in the city using the public transportation system. Hello there, here we are again at Kossuth Lajos ter, and I as look behind me you will see up to my right that there is a sign, and it shows us where we begin and where we end in our trip through the Budapest metro system. We happen to be right now at Kossuth Lajos ter, and you can see each of the exits after until we get to the end station. Another wonderful thing about the Budapest metro system is that you look behind me at every station you can also see the time. So if you're in rush, look up to the top of the metro stations and you will see the clocks. Opposite me, going to the right, at every metro station we can also see each of the exits for the Budapest metro system. So from Kossuth Lajos ter, where I am located, which is where that bull's eye is, on the right letters to my right, it shows each of the stations going in either direction. From this station going to my right, I know that each of those subsequent exits will be in the order that is shown on the sign. Have a good trip."
