"Hi, this is David for Expert Village and today we are going to make homemade cranberry sauce. Now we have given our berries a stir here just move them around a little. We have turn the heat down, we have chopped our garlic and know what we want to do is finely chop about a quarter of a red onions. So I have a half here okay so we are going to cut it again to a quarter like this and set this aside. We got it off the board and what I like to do here is now we got this root end left I can take that portion off also. Then I just like to run the knife lengthwise like this then just do a couple of horizontal cuts here. Be sure to watch your fingers and you thumbs, put it up like that and just take it slow. Of course the more you get it to cut here when you go to your dice you can make it as thin dices as you like. As you can see it is coming out nice and small and you don't want your guest to get a big bite of onions. You want to have a more of a flavor to it in the background. "
