"Hi, this is David for Expert Village and today we are going to make homemade cranberry sauce. Okay our cranberries are boiling so what we are going to do is turn these down to a simmer about medium high heat and then we are going to start cutting our cloves and garlic, we'll actually chopped this up fine. Well I have a half a head of garlic here I we would need is a clove so I'm just going to pull this off just like that and all it would do is cut the skin on so what I would like to do is just get my chef knife and use this and just give it a nice whack like that. You would see that the skin would come right off. It would make it really easy on you. Then I would like to take that root off there cause that would end up being tough. Then just like to cut it length wise a nice clove just like that. Then I would take this way and you want this pretty fine cause you don't want anybody just chopping into a big piece of garlic. So you don't want a piece of garlic like that so you just run your knife through at angle to you get a nice nice fine chop to it."
