"Hi, this is David for Expert Village and today we are going to make homemade cranberry sauce. Okay we have chosen our pot and what we are going to do now is add our cranberries together with our port wine. Okay so I'm going to pour 3/4 of a cup of port, you can use Tawny Port if you like, you can also use very fine graded of Port like whatever your taste is. Some of them are very expensive, some are less. Now this is somewhere in the middle so we want to put this in our pan. You want to turn the heat to about medium high so put this like this. Now just put our berries in there now this is a 12 ounce bag of cranberries very good berries too by the way. Just open this up and we would put about 3/4 of this bag in right into the pot onto the Port wine. You can just hold back some more if you want to do another batch just like that and you just shake them around a little. What is going to happen is about 12-15 minutes or so this is going to start breaking down and you are going to start hearing the berries pop."
